Our Story:

Daniel J. Ritter was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, where he built a career around leadership, service, and operational excellence. For more than two decades, his professional journey has been rooted in healthcare operations, where he managed complex multi-site operations, maintained C-Suite professional relationships, and developed a deep appreciation for the people, products, and services that help healthcare organizations operate successfully.

That experience naturally shaped one of the core specialties of Primo Logistics - sourcing and distributing quality healthcare, medical, and professional-use products.

Our other specialty comes from something much closer to home: Southern Food. Growing up in South Louisiana gave Daniel a lifelong appreciation for great food, bold flavors, local traditions, and the seasonings and specialty products that make our region unique. As a result, gourmet foods, specialty foods, and seasonings have become another important focus of our business.

While Primo Logistics pursues opportunities across a diverse range of product categories, Healthcare Products and Gourmet Foods & Seasonings are two niches where Primo's professional experience and personal interests come together.

Metairie, LA is still home today, where Primo lives with his wife,  three children, and two dogs. Primo Logistics was built with the same values that have guided his career and family life: relationships, reliability, integrity, hard work, and doing business the right way.
